I went on a city tour today with Christian (arranged by MadaAssist) and for 7.5 hours he showed me the entire city centre including some of the seedier bits which are usually interesting. I just completed a 22-day trip through Madagascar, including Morondaba, Tsingy, Belo Sur, Ifaty, Ranohira, Ranomafana, and the Pangalanes Channel, among other places. The overall experience was good, except for a minor initial disagreement regarding the agreed-upon price and some unexpected hotel changes. Communication with them is always quick and easy, and the payment method is secure. A special mention goes to our driver and guide, Antsa, a true gem. Besides being an excellent driver, he was always kind, friendly, helpful, and committed to making everything easier.

The tour was interesting, and the driver was good. However, we feel the travel agency should have informed us in advance about the guides who wait at the park entrances and accompany tourists to geysers and waterfalls. The booking confirmation made no mention of this at all; it only stated that park entrance fees, food, and drinks were not included. When we have no idea how much the guide’s services will cost, we don't know how much cash to bring, since credit cards aren't accepted in places like that.
